About the Role
Major accountabilities:
- Play a key role in supporting the timely delivery of transformative projects related to the development of Finance Data powerhouse.
- Business partnering to identify new digital requirements across functions and drive change management to adopt solutions across the business.
- Continuous identification, analysis and interpretation of trends/patterns relating to key performance indicators in complex data sets, leverage the analysis for process improvements.
- Quickly learn and pilot the use of tools, data sources and analytical techniques needed to answer a wide range of critical business questions and to improve status quo.
- Translate queries, such as optimization of 3rd party spend planning into analytical problems and help build solutions using visualization techniques, machine and deep learning, and statistical modelling.
- Implement process improvements including trainings on products, change management and communications strategies.
- Own the governance and management of relevant reporting applications (e.g., SONAR, I.AM, etc.).
- Maintain the Finance Portal with all information always updated, promote sharing of best practices and knowledge to help improve efficiencies.
- Manage master data updates through EBX in line with organizational and operational changes.
- Be part of a team supporting the Investment Review Meeting (IRM) and the end-to-end lab equipment optimization program.
- Support various projects and initiatives (e.g., KMR benchmarking, etc.).

Key Requirements:
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or Business
- 5+ years of work experience in financial reporting, controlling and technology power user / enabler.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Passionate about digital transformation, experience in predictive modelling and large data analysis is a plus.
- Expertise in visualization tools like Qlik for crafting insights.
- Proven experience in project management.
- Customer centric mindset; ability to collaborate with cross functional teams.
- Curiosity to learn and improve / simplify processes, hands-on mentality.
- Confident communicator to senior management.
- English fluency required (spoken and written).
