Snr Specialist(Power BI)
About the Role
Your responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Strong Power BI developer to oversee the creation and management of BI and analytics solutions, transforming data into valuable insights.
- Drives the success of technology usage for solution delivery, best practices and standards definition, compliance, smooth transition to operations, improvements and enablement of the business.
- Support Solution delivery lead & visualization lead on ‘existing, new and upcoming’ features, technology decisioning and roadmap.
- Collaborate with the solution architect and platform architect on the visualization architecture pattern to be applied based on functional requirements and non-functional requirements and considering the available technical patterns.
- Define & Drive DevOps Roadmap to enable Agile ways of working, Enable CI/CD pipeline, Automation for self-serve governance of Power BI platform, in collaboration with the Platform lead.
- Take accountability to ensure alignment with security and compliance policies and procedures.
- Ensure adherence to Information Security & Compliance (ISC), Legal, ethics and other compliance policies and procedures in defining architecture standards, patterns, and platform solutions
Minimum Requirements
- IT experience in Data and Analytics, Visualization area with strong exposure to Power BI Solution delivery and Platform Automation in a highly qualified technical function and global matrix organization.
- In depth understanding of database management systems, ETL,OLAP, data lake technologies.
- Experience in Power BI Embedded analytics is a plus
- Experience in Power BI. Knowledge of other visualization (preferably Qlik ) technologies is a plus.
- Pharma domain specialization is a plus and understanding of data usage across the end-to-end enterprise value chain.
- Demonstrated good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, and time management aligned with Novartis Values & Behaviors; deep technical expertise and understanding of the business processes and systems.
