Automation Engineer, Senior Specialist
About the Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Act as a thought leader and influencer across teams in RLT, able to manage project teams and be a trusted partner for key stakeholders
- Provide technical expertise for the design, configuration, installation, and maintenance of automation software and associated hardware; including interacting with other teams as necessary.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize the performance, reliability, and efficiency of the OT systems used on the automated manufacturing lines.
- Strong Project management experience and ability to drive project teams to successful outcomes.
- Interact heavily with the Semi-Automated line vendor to ensure timely delivery, effective troubleshooting, and adherence to SLAs.
What you will bring to the role:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience and managing teams in an IT or Automation, in a GMP Pharma environment.
- Experience in leading project teams and proficient in project management methodologies and tools.
- Strong leadership and decision making abilities
- Strong knowledge and understanding of automation systems, computer system validation, and regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Fluent in English. Italian a plus.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of radioligand therapy manufacturing processes and equipment is a plus
