About the Role
Your Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Business and project performance measurement
- Support performance tracking of site (KPI consolidation)
- Support Site OpEx maturity assessments
Improvement initiatives and best practices / standardization
- Identify best practices through performance and data analysis
- Co-facilitate workshops and provide coaching to identify process improvement opportunities
- Lead and drive OpEx projects execution
Operational Excellence capability
- Drive OpEx awareness / culture building within Novartis Operations
- Support Preparation / standardization / execution of OpEx trainings based on customer needs
- Support Site with OpEx knowledge (use of tools, statistics, etc.)
- Foster an environment that enables the most efficient and effective work processes to achieve continuous quality and productivity improvements for Novartis Operations
- Work within the organization at all levels utilizing a very "hands-on" approach for creating value and buy-in as a lead change driver
Strategic programs
- Collaborate with global, local and external stakeholders to develop the program
- Define scope of work and defines rollout timelines and task owners
- Govern implementation
Simplification / Automation of Site processes and systems
- Analyse Site processes with data collection and analytics
- Create solutions with best fit technology applications
- Apply appropriate digitalization tools wherever applicable
- Govern the implementation plan
What you’ll bring to the role
- Minimum 2 year experience manufacturing/operations management experience
- Minimum university degree in technical or business discipline, science or medicine
- Certified Lean 6-Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt desirable
- Advanced English and proficient in site local language
- Cultural awareness and sensitivity; ability to network and communicate with all levels of the organization.
- Broad understanding in the principles and methods of medicine manufacture and GMP attained in a manufacturing environment
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to be flexible, adapt to change and ability to work in an ambiguous environment
